ReMix Ideas to host free Little Rock Night Market on Saturday, June 4

BCN Staff – June 1, 2022 — After nearly a two-year lull due to the pandemic, ReMix Ideas will reboot the Little Rock Night Market in the city’s downtown River Market district.

This free, family-friendly event, in partnership with Central Arkansas Library System (CALS) and the Arkansas Regional Organ Recovery Agency (ARORA), will be held at Library Square outside the CALS Main Library in downtown Little Rock on Saturday, from 5- 10 p.m. The festive summer happening will bring the community together through food and music while celebrating the diversity within our city and encouraging shoppers to buy local, organizers said.

“It’s more than just a market, it’s a nightlife experience,” said Benito Lubazibwa, founder of ReMix Ideas. “The strategic intent of the Little Rock Night Market is to provide an opportunity for local entrepreneurs, startups, artists, and makers to showcase their imagination and strengthen the local economy by creating a space that encourages shoppers to buy local.”

The public can expect food trucks, local makers and artisan vendors, music featuring Nicky Parrish, Butterfly, Tim Anthony, Mike Walker, DJ Nick Hud, DJ Charles, and much more. There also will be free children’s books to promote the importance of reading thanks to the generosity of CALS.
